MIDORI PRECISIONS CO.,LTD. was founded in 1952 as manufacturer of Electro-Mechanical transducers. These early products using Wire-wound potentiometer technology, offered products that were used in the precision instrumentation market.
By 1970, MIDORI developed technology that was able to offer precision conductive plastic instruments to its product line. (The Green Pot product line)
During the 1980’s MIDORI pioneered another technology, the contactless magneto-resistive potentiometer. (The Blue Pot product line)
During 1994, MIDORI introduced another contactless potentiometer line which adapted the Hall Effect IC as sensing element offering an instrument with improved function and cost efficiency to this product line. (The Orange Pot line)
